The Fellow Aptitude Practice Index is a two-part self-assessment built to help you understand your own strengths going into the Newport Institute of AI (NIA) Fellowship journey. Round 1 (Genius Lane-Fit) maps your natural strengths across seven intelligence types, plus business ethics, emotional intelligence, and purpose orientation. Round 2 (Aptitude Core) is a foundational-skills check across verbal, math, science, and mechanical/spatial reasoning.
Why Practice It
This practice version is not a scored admissions decision — it's a preparation tool. Taking it before NIA's planned formal assessment helps you identify where you're already strong and where a little review beforehand will help you show up at your best. You can take it as many times as you like.
How It Fits Into the Admissions Journey
Results from this practice tool are informal and for your own preparation — they are not part of any official NIA Fellow application file. NIA is currently developing a separate, formal version of this assessment to be administered as part of its planned intake process. Practicing here first is meant to reduce surprise and help you arrive prepared, not to pre-qualify or disqualify you.
Enter your name and email to begin practicing. This is a practice tool — take it as many times as you'd like to prepare. Your scorecard will be emailed to you and to the NIA team when you finish.
